KCPM, as one of the largest manufacturers of packaging in Ukraine, has mastered another area of ecological packaging.
In December 2021, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill completed the installation and testing of a new line for the production of cast containers. By the beginning of 2022, it is already actively supplying the market of cast containers for eggs in the format of 30 pcs. Also in the process of testing is the second line – from egg packaging in the format of 10 pcs.
“A customer-oriented approach is very important to us. And thanks to the launch of the new line, we will be able to offer egg producers a comprehensive packaging solution – both cast containers and high-quality corrugated boxes, which are traditionally in high demand in this segment, – said Commercial Director of “Cardboard and Packaging” Kyiv CCP Alexei Katyshev. We believe this is our competitive advantage.”
The installation of two lines of cast containers for eggs is only the first stage of a large-scale project to develop this area. “In addition, we plan to meet the needs of our customers in various segments of the fruit and vegetable business – to produce cast containers for apples, berries and more. This will allow Ukrainian producers and exporters of fruits and berries to be better present on the world market, “Oleksiy Katyshev added.
