In support of people who are forced to spend the night in difficult conditions, the company launched the production of corrugated beds.

Today, tens of thousands of our citizens have lost their homes and are forced to spend the night in unfurnished places, often on the floor. The Kyiv CPM does not stand aside from such a problem and helps people. After all, one of the key tasks in the current environment, the mill defines for itself not only the support of employment and the Ukrainian economy, but also charity for the benefit of volunteers, charities, medical institutions and more.
We have designed and launched modular corrugated beds, which can withstand the load of human weight, and also have a high level of stability and thermal insulation.
“In early April, we designed and manufactured a test batch of such beds on the plotter,” said Andriy Savyuk, head of the corrugated packaging development department, – “but technical production on the plotter did not allow for large volumes. That’s why we finalized the design and launched the beds for mass production on our flat-cutting lines. “
This allowed to increase the volume of production, as well as simplified the transportation of such products. After all, now they can be collected on the spot, as an erector set, out of the box in minutes.
The initiative received a wide response – we were approached by many volunteer organizations, local communities, centers for temporary accommodation of migrants.
“Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill is a socially responsible enterprise that has been taking care of its employees, industry, and, I’m not afraid of that, region for many years. With the onset of February 24, 2022, we have expanded our area of support, because now unity, responsibility and good deeds are what will help Ukraine to survive and win,” – added Igor Oleshchuk, Chairman of the Board of the Kyiv CPC.
