Oleshchuk was appointed chairman of the board of KCPM at the beginning of August 2021.
Igor Oleshchuk (born in 1983) graduated from the Lviv Polytechnic National University with a degree in Mechanical Engineer and Ivan Franko Lviv National University with a degree in Finance.
Since 2011, he headed the direction of development and modernization of the Kiev KBM , from 2016 to 2019. served as Chief Engineer of the KKBK.
2019 to 2021 served as vice president for paper and board machines at Andritz (an international concern, one of the world leaders in the production of equipment for the pulp and paper industry).
Igor Oleshchuk plans to continue the previously chosen course of the company for development in the Ukrainian market and abroad.
“As part of our development strategy for the next five years, we plan to develop the corrugated packaging market and increase our presence in regions, in particular, to become closer to our customers in eastern and south-eastern Ukraine,” said KCPM board chairman Igor Oleshchuk .
The company also plans to increase its production of testliner and fluting for 30% to provide the paper for the plant.
As for tissue, we also plan to double the share of our brands Soffione and Divo on the Ukrainian market within 3 years.
In addition, KCPM is launching a new line of business – the production of molded fiber packaging. “We see this as promising not only for poultry farming and egg packaging but also in other areas – for producers of fruit and vegetables, including those supplying their products to international markets. We believe this will help Ukraine to increase export volumes not only due to products that are competitive on the world market, but also thanks to this competitive packaging,” said Igor Oleshchuk.
